本品は銘木(PRECIOUS WOOD)と呼ばれる貴重な無垢木材を使用しひとつずつハンドメイドで作られた木製ヨーヨー「PWS (プレシャス ウッド スピン)」シリーズの数量限定モデルです。ボディには黒と黄土のゼブラ模様が特徴の黄金檀(ボコーテ)、外側リング部には銘木と言われる木材の中でも超希少な黄金樟(マーブルウッド)、センター突板にはギラギラの縮杢が入るハワイアンコアの左右非対称デザインに銅のリングを施した「銘木ヨーヨー GOLDEN BASE」です。特に外側リング部に使用した黄金樟は、当工房の銘木ヨーヨーに使用した材種の中では断トツに希少価値が高く木材価格も一番な超高級木材です。また黄金樟はミャンマーでは三大国宝にも指定されるほどの逸材で大変価値のある木材です。今回は秘蔵にしていた黄金樟を特別にヨーヨーにしました。仕入れたくも物がないといった希少さなので黄金樟を使ったヨーヨーはこれ以降は製造不可能かと思われます。

性能面では「PWS exceed」シリーズ同等の凹型サイズCタイプのボールベアリングと木製スターバーストの引き戻しヨーヨーですが、使用材種の関係で「PWS exceed」シリーズの平均重量よりもかなり重く67g前後になります。

大自然が生み出した黄金のように輝く天然の木材達の質感とメタルボールベアリングの回転力をどうぞお楽しみ下さい。

This is a limited edition model of the "PWS (Precious Wood Spin)" series of wooden yo-yos, which are handmade one by one using precious solid wood called "PRECIOUS WOOD". The body is made of golden sandalwood (bokote), which is characterized by a black and ochre zebra pattern, the outer ring is made of golden camphor (marblewood), which is a very rare wood among precious woods, and the center veneer is made of Hawaiian Koa with a shiny shrunken grain and an asymmetrical design with a copper ring. In particular, the golden camphor used for the outer ring is by far the most rare and expensive of the materials used for our precious wood yo-yos. Golden camphor is also a very valuable wood in Myanmar, designated as one of the three major national treasures. This time, we made a special yo-yo using golden camphor that we had been keeping in our treasury. It is so rare that we don't even want to buy it, so we think it will be impossible to manufacture yo-yos using golden camphor from now on. In terms of performance, this is a pull-back yo-yo with a concave C-type ball bearing and wooden starburst, which is the same as the "PWS exceed" series, but due to the type of material used, it is much heavier than the average weight of the "PWS exceed" series, weighing around 67g.
